The Role

Reporting into the Regional Sales Director, the Key Account Manager for South Wales will be responsible for delivering the budgeted volume, net sales, gross margin and delivered gross margin of a portfolio of customers strategically important to Heineken UK regional sales and managed multiples.

You will determine the strategic context underpinning the trading relationship & seek to maximise gross margin, core brand distribution and new product development within that context.

Key responsibilities include implementation of agreed trading agreements and the exploitation of new opportunities, ensuring all commercial and brand objectives with the customer are understood and account plans are drawn up and executed to a high standard, and negotiating the implementation of brand and operational strategy in accordance with agreed commercial terms.

Although you won't have any direct line management responsibilities, you will give regular and frequent direction to virtual team members in commercial finance, technical services, credit control and customer marketing. For this reason we are looking for significant interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to communicate effectively at a senior level. Achievements in both planning and implementation of strategic initiatives is a must alongside preferable experience within an On Trade or FMCG environment.
