An exciting opportunity has arisen within Heineken UK's Customer Service and Logistics Department for a Demand Relationship Manager within the On Trade Demand Team based in Edinburgh.

The Role

Our On Trade Demand team focus on ensuring the availability of our delicious products in pubs and bars across the UK. As a Demand Relationship Manager, you will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to provide detailed analysis and scenario work to support our supply chain processes.

It will be your responsibility to ensure statistical forecast overlays and SKU change forecasts are as accurate as possible through collaboration with Sales, Contract Partners, Marketing and Supply Planning using sound analytical techniques to model On Trade demand.

A confident and positive individual, you will be able to adapt your plan in a role where numbers are always fluid, working off assumptions rather than a tidy black and white set of facts, implementing required changes to the forecasting systems (APO DP) to keep the process moving.

Strong communication skills are critical.

This role would suit a switched on degree qualified individual (ideally in Maths or Statistics - or evidencing an analytical slant) with some commercial understanding of sales forecasting. In saying that, we are very open to candidates with a Finance, Banking, Investment fund or Actuarial background given the nature of modelling required.

An understanding of a demand planning system (eg APO) would be desirable, but any experience of using a modelling tool along with an ability to pick up systems would be a solid base.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into our business and make your mark. We need someone who is mature enough to understand the consequences that change in one part of our supply chain might have on colleagues and process further down the line.

Accountability and Ownership are key.
